How Turntable Fit Guide evaluates product fit
Primary evidence before conclusions
Each assessment uses the named manufacturer's product information, user manuals and relevant setup guidance where available. It identifies the model or package being discussed, what those sources support and which important details remain unknown. Similar model names are not enough to combine products: different supplied cartridges or other functional package differences receive separate assessments or clearly bounded configuration sections.
No simulated listening tests
We have not claimed to own, audition, measure, install or test the products. Published performance figures are reported only when relevant and are not converted into an invented listening verdict. Manufacturer marketing statements are treated as claims, not independent proof of sound quality. Where evidence conflicts or does not cover a field, the assessment says so.
Coverage and matching
This selected library covers U.S.-focused model configurations from Audio-Technica, Fluance, Pro-Ject, Sony and U-Turn Audio, alongside separate Pro-Ject reference-only assessments. Those pages explain source-supported model identities and limitations, but are excluded from U.S. finder matches and buying recommendations. This is not a census of every historical model, seller listing or used offer. The finder applies your stated requirements to documented product facts and supported operating arrangements. A match is a useful fit screen—not a promise of price, stock, condition, compatibility with unreviewed equipment or personal preference.
Corrections
Research is dated and revised as primary sources change. Exact model suffixes, color editions, cartridge packages and manual versions matter. If a cited source changes, review the source and the matching facts before relying on an older assessment.
