Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the Juke Box S2 HiFi Set include the speakers, speaker cable and a cartridge?
The canonical manufacturer set page lists Juke Box S2 with Pick it 25A, Speaker Box 5 E pair and 3 m Connect it LS E Flex cable. It also lists the remote, dust cover, power supply and setup accessories. This list is global package evidence, not an exact U.S. seller carton.
Can the included speakers use the turntable's built-in phono and power stages?
The manufacturer specifies 2 x 50 W at 4 ohms for the Juke Box S2 and lists speaker outputs plus the Speaker Box 5 E pair and connecting cable in this set. The documented included-system route uses the built-in phono and power stages; verify the exact local set and electrical supply before buying.
Explore this need in the finder →Is 33/45 speed selection electronic, and is Bluetooth described as a vinyl transmitter?
The set page says manual 33/45 speed change, and the setup materials show moving the belt between pulley positions. The manual describes Bluetooth as an input for a paired source; it does not establish a reverse path that sends record audio to headphones or wireless speakers.
Explore this need in the finder →This source-led assessment covers the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 HiFi Set, not the separate Juke Box S2 standalone turntable. Pro-Ject's global directory shows two set-card spellings—“HiFiSet” and “HiFi Set”—on the same destination. The current English detail page uses the spaced name and lists one consistent component package. Those cards are therefore treated as two observations of the same set only after checking the shared product page and its actual contents, not from the URL alone.

The global page documents one bundled S2 system
The canonical maker page lists a Juke Box S2 with pre-mounted Pick it 25A cartridge, a Speaker Box 5 E pair and a 3 m Connect it LS E Flex speaker cable. It also names a remote with batteries, felt mat, dust cover, power supply, Allen key, 7-inch singles adapter, stylus-pressure gauge and gloves. That is materially different from the separate U.S.-facing Eucalyptus S2 item already documented as a standalone open-box turntable. The latter does not establish speakers, a speaker cable or the box contents of this HiFi Set, and those records must not be blended.
The set page describes the included Speaker Box 5 E as a two-way bass-reflex speaker and gives its dimensions as 160 × 265 × 198 mm (W × H × D), with 4.04 kg net weight each. The 3 m cable is a supplied system connection, not a promise that any arbitrary room arrangement will fit. Place the deck and both speakers independently, and leave room for the dust cover, arm movement, records and cable routing.
Integrated stages can reduce the number of boxes
Pro-Ject lists 2 × 50 W at 4 ohms for the S2's built-in power amplifier and describes its phono stage and preamplifier within the chassis. For the included speaker pair, the intended path is turntable to internal phono stage and amplifier to the Speaker Box 5 E pair. In that configuration, no separate receiver or external phono stage is part of the manufacturer-described setup. The set page's published power figure is not a blanket claim about compatibility with every speaker; if substituting different speakers, check their load guidance and the amplifier's instructions.
The S2 also lists Bluetooth and one analog line input, plus speaker, fixed line, variable line and Phono Out connections. They support alternate uses, but they are not interchangeable. The manual identifies Variable Out for an amplifier or active speakers, Fixed Out for a recording device, and Phono Out for an external phono preamplifier or compatible PHONO input. It also describes selecting Bluetooth as an input and pairing an external source. Bluetooth is documented as a receiving input here, not as a transmitter that sends records to wireless headphones.
Manual speed changes and tonearm handling remain part of playback
The S2 set page specifies manual 33⅓/45 rpm change, and its setup guide shows installing the belt on the pulley, connecting speakers and moving the tonearm with the lift lever. The pre-mounted Pick it 25A and pre-adjusted tracking force reduce initial setup choices, but the guide still depicts hands-on cueing. The set page and manual do not document a 78-rpm arrangement, automatic start/return or a platter stop at the end of a side. Treat those as unknown, not as capabilities to assume from the word “all-in-one.”
The acrylic platter and integrated phono/power stages distinguish the S2 from the E1 family, while the manual speed change is a practical difference from the E1 set's electronically selected speeds. Neither distinction is a sound-quality verdict: no listening session or independent performance measurement was conducted for this assessment. If automatic operation or unattended end-of-side behavior is essential, obtain written confirmation for the exact S2 package rather than inferring it from the bundled-speaker format.
Body measurements are not the full-system footprint
Pro-Ject lists the turntable itself at 415 × 118 × 334 mm (W × H × D), or about 16.34 × 4.65 × 13.15 inches, and 5 kg net. Each included speaker is listed separately at 160 × 265 × 198 mm and 4.04 kg. The maker does not give one combined shelf footprint. Allow additional clearance for lifting the dust cover, operating the tonearm, reaching the controls, routing the supplied speaker leads and arranging the two cabinets for stereo use. These are published dimensions, not a measured fit test.
Keep global package facts separate from U.S. eligibility
The current official page confirms the existence and listed contents of the global S2 HiFi Set. It does not identify a U.S.-distributed set SKU, a U.S. mains version, a seller carton or present local availability. The separate open-box U.S.-facing S2 listing is not a substitute for that evidence; its exact item is a standalone deck in Eucalyptus. This is not a claim that the speaker set cannot be found in the United States. It is an evidence boundary: do not transfer the standalone item's finish, condition or package, and verify the exact set name, power-supply markings, cartridge, speakers, cable and return terms before relying on a seller offer.
Sources and limits
The official Juke Box S2 HiFi Set page and its product-information sheet support the bundle and its component specifications. The S2 manual and setup guide support the connections and manual operation. The separate standalone S2 model page is used only for core model context; the set page is the evidence for included speakers and cable. No hands-on use, listening test, price, stock or individual-unit condition is claimed.
